FEEL-GOOD HOT CHOCOLATE

VIRGIN COCONUT OIL “L’Exotique”
Keep the blues at bay with a Theobroma hot chocolate. Almond and Sublim’ “L'Exotique” organic virgin coconut oil contain magnesium and beneficial fatty acids to stabilise blood sugar levels; the theobromine in cocoa helps to combat stress. The spices add flavour and anti-inflammatory benefits. Sounds like this winter's go-to beverage!
Preparation : 5 mins
Baking : 5 mins
2 large mugs
50 cl almond drink (make your own if you prefer)
50 g dark chocolate with high cocoa content
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 tablespoon Sublim’ “L’Exotique” organic virgin coconut oil
1 pinch of nutmeg
1 pinch of ground cardamom
1 teaspoon of vanilla powder (or ¼ of a scraped vanilla pod)
Optional : Tonka bean + 1 teaspoon of cocoa powder

Ustensils

1 saucepan
1 blender
2 large mugs

Préparation

Break the chocolate into small pieces, and add to the saucepan with the almond drink over a low heat.
Add all the other ingredients.
Stir continuously, then use a hand-held blender to process the chocolate mixture until silky and foamy.
You can of course use a stick of cinnamon or a whole cardamom pod – remember to extend the cooking time to infuse these spices and always strain to remove them before blending!
Your drink is ready! Enjoy at teatime, after a Sunday stroll, or just before bedtime.
