Dried fruit and nut granola

VIRGIN COCONUT OIL “L’Exotique”
Granola is a great idea and such joy to prepare. A quick alternative on a busy morning, or something different for your traditional weekend breakfast when all you want to do is go back to bed – it’s also really handy to take with you for when those 4pm hunger pangs strike... Sublim’ organic virgin coconut oil adds an exotic fruity touch to the crunchy mixture that you’ll love! 😊
Preparation : 15 minutes
Baking : 20 minutes
70 g honey
60 g Sublim’ organic virgin coconut oil
100 g chestnut flakes
100 g buckwheat flakes
40 g oat flakes
40 g whole almonds
20 g grated coconut
Dried fruit and nut mix (Goji berries, blueberries, pistachios, etc.)

Ustensils

1 saucepan
1 mixing bowl
parchment paper
1 airtight container

Préparation

Preheat the oven to 140 °C.
In a small saucepan, melt the honey and Sublim’ virgin coconut oil for a few seconds.
Halve the almonds lengthwise and add to a mixing bowl with the flakes, then mix. Smooth the honey + Sublim’ organic virgin coconut oil, then pour onto the flakes, and mix well to coat.
Arrange on a baking tray lined with parchment paper or a silicone mat.
Bake for 15 mins.
Add the grated coconut or coconut shavings.
Bake for a further 5 mins.
Once out of the oven, add the dried fruit, leave to cool and store in an airtight container.

Tip: to make a gluten-free granola, replace the oat flakes with the chestnut flakes
